Sep. 26-29, 2024
Gustavo Molina President of the iADH 2022-2024
Dear iADH Community and new friends,
After the joy of resuming our biannual meetings in Paris 2022, we look forward to seeing you all again in Seoul 2024... reloaded!
In Paris we acknowledged and discussed how much quality matters to reduce the inequalities in access and the provision of oral health care from a multidisciplinary approach and we committed to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical applications during the following period so we could meet again to share our steps towards this aim.
This forthcoming congress in Seoul 2024 has a special meaning to iADH. It is expected to be a tipping point in our association where all these ideas that we have been dreaming of start to become a reality. Because people with disabilities should not wait forever to see changes that have an impact on their quality of life. Regardless of the diversity of local or regional development of our members and associations, those that are in a better position may guide and help others to follow successful paths or to avoid shortcomings. That is the soul of the meeting: to share, to exchange and to promote networking. We have experienced virtuality… that is why we are certain that these can be achieved at larger amounts when we are face to face.
The iADH, through its Executive Board and different committees, has been working to complete the mission goals that had been stated for the period 2020-2024, and great advances have been already made in terms of education, research and advocacy. Spreading the news of such advances and gaining more visibility through a variety of resources, has been our way to consolidate the brand “iADH”. We are proud to say that, by such actions, important companies from the dental industry are willing to support our projects throughout the world for the benefit of our whole community.
Last, but not least, I would like to tell you that Seoul is a vibrant city and its people’s warmth will surely make us all feel special. The organizing committee is preparing an unforgettable meeting, where the exquisite blend of culture, science and excitement will delight all participants. Each of you are most expected to join! Please come, I promise not to sing this time😉
